TLDR; The top line, is a standard declaration using the format (CODE.org/STANDARD/GRADE). You are using this declaration to notify future readers that the following code is written in OS++, with the 2022 syntax standard. This is the declaration you use, when you need to test out an idea. It’s incomplete and dirty but it’s use is to “test something”. A first rough draft.
The declaration just happens to be an HTML link, which has more information.
Format | What it means | Notes |
---|---|---|
CODE.org | Is the code language type | OS++ |
STANDARD | Is the year of the standard | 2022 |
GRADE | Means the code grade or quality | First stab at the problem |

TLDR; Throwaway, Testing an idea or concept which will be superseded.
We can’t always make works or art on the first try. Sometimes it’s useful to explore an idea using quick and dirty code. After all if the business decides to not go in this direction it is not worth putting a lot of effort into it. Yes code should be easily maintainable and documented correctly, but not in this case. This code comes under the category of "fail fast, learn fast’. A one off never to be repeated, fix. Or just simply messing with ideas to get a good direction of where to go next. Reader beware.
